After a meticulous study of the artist's work and finding old photos of this masterpiece, I studied how the stone got damaged.The client wanted a restoration "like the original", so I rebuilt the missing parts, cleaned thoroughly the sculpture and re-gilded it.

The most complex part of the work has been to recreate most fingers of the main figure, as well as the arms and other missing parts of the cherubs, while remaining as minimalist as possible in the recreation work and retaining the "artist's touch". -
